WARKWORTH THE STANNERS

House and former cottage, now outbuilding. Late C18, altered C19. Roughly-
squared stone; fawn brick. Pantile roof with brick stacks. House 2 storeys,
3 windows. Ground floor partly behind pent brick outshut, with renewed door
at right end, and outbuilding; left of outshut a 4-pane casement. Upper
windows are 12-pane Yorkshire sashes. Raised reverse-stepped gable copings;
banded right end stack, left end stack rebuilt on old base. Projecting
single-storey outbuilding has gable coping returned on footstones; inner
return shows boarded door and 6-pane fixed window under timber lintel.
