21/348 Cemetery Chapel

II

Cemetery Chapel, mid-C19. Squared rubble with tooled-and-margined quoins and
dressings; Welsh slate roof with moulded stone ridge. Simple 2-bay aisleless
rectangle. West end shows boarded double doors with C hinges in pointed arch
of two orders, outer chamfered, with chamfered impost band. Lancet window
above, and bellcote with pointed arch and wheel-cross finial. 2 ogee-headed
lights on north. East end has 3 trefoiled lancets under pointed arch.
