Nos 48 to 52 with 46, and 56 to 62 (even), form an interesting group of
early C18 small cottages arranged in a small close on hillside of river
bank. No 48, pantiled roof, 3 storeys to river frontage, the left hand
side fronting the close, with steps up to other cottages. No 50, 2 low
storeys, pantiled roof, walls of old brick on stone base, tall brick
chimney, sliding sashes. Disused extension up the hill has a small
dormer. No 52, at head of close, small, 2 low storeys, ashlar, pentiles,
large brick chimney, 1 sash.

Nos 46 to 52 (even). Nos 56 to 80 (even) and No 84 form a group.
