17/53 East Lodge

GV 11

Lodge. 1828 by Sir Jeffrey Wyatville for the Earl of Tankerville. Ashlar. Roof
not visible. Tudor style. Octagonal plan. 2 storeys. Mainly one-light, Tudor-
arched windows in chamfered reveals, but one side has blank slit windows.
2-storey canted bay next to gateway has Tudor arches to all lights. Embattled
parapet capped with roll moulding. First floor sill drip string.
