16/60 Public Fountain at Bank Top

GV 11

Public fountain. 1872. Limestone ashlar. Octagonal on square base. Pyramidal
roof above cornice has foliated cross finial. On west face trefoiled panel
above semicircular bowl, with leaf carving, resting on colonnette with carved
capital. At left and right angles similar colonnettes and capitals (the right
colonnette missing). Drip stone forms gable above trefoil panel.
