NU o2 SW LILBURN LILBURN TOWER

7/84 Byre and Dovecote 200 yards
North of Lilburn Tower

Formerly byre and dovecote, now pheasantry. Early C19. Dressed stone. 3 bays
with raised castellated centre with pyramical roof. Stone pierced pigeon holes
in semicircular recess. Left and right segmental arches to former byres now with
double doors. Gabled roof with kneelers.
