12/33 St. Oswalds


Cottage. 1912. For Edward Hudson probably by Sir E. Lutyens. Snecked stone
with ashlar surrounds. C20 roof of large pantiles. L-shaped. Single storey.

Front of 5 irregular bays. ½-glazed door in 4th bay. Bays 1 and 3 have 32-pane
casements. Bays 2 and 4 have smaller 12-pane casements.

Steeply-pitched roof with thin raised coping. Big square ridge stacks.

Windows to rear and on returns are tiny, deeply-recessed 4-pane casements.
