10/7 Twizell North Lodge

GV II

Lodge. Mid-late C19. Ashlar with Welsh slate roof. Tudor style. 2 storeys,
3 bays. Central 2-storey porch with square piers, pulvinated frieze with
stylized triglyphs, and cornice; above a 4-light mullioned window, with
scrolled pediment holding an obelisk; gabled top with kneelers and ball
finial. Flanking 3-light windows with floating cornices. Iron brackets
support eaves. Steeply-pitched gabled roof with kneelers, flat coping,
ball finials and tall, square, corniced ridge stack. 4-light windows on
returns.
