House. 1819 by William Burn. Ashlar with plinth, Welsh slate roof. Classical
style. 2 storeys, 5 x 3 bays with lower 4-bay service wing to left.

Large port-cochère with antae and angle pilasters, cornice and corniced blocking
course. 4 steps up to recessed tripartite doorway with panelled 2-leaf door
flanked by pilasters and 3-pane sidelights; shallow segmental fanlight. On
ground floor long 14-pane sashes in plain reveals. 12-pane sashes above.
Cornice and corniced parapet. Hipped roof with 2 corniced ridge stacks.
Glazed drum with shallow dome. On left return, large tripartite stair window
in segmental recess.

Service wing has three 12-pane sashes to right. Left bay breaks forward
slightly and has 14-pane sash in architrave with floating cornice.

Interior: Full-height central hall has balconies to left and right with
scrolled iron balusters; top lit by glazed drum with restrained plasterwork.
Open-well cantilevered stair has iron balusters with palmette motifs. Drawing
room has white marble fireplace with wreaths and Greek key design.
