House. Mid C18 with slightly-later C18 range to rear. Porch altered and
right bay extended forward 1857. Brick, earlier parts in irregular bond,
later parts in English Garden Wall Bond; ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof.
Double span.
2 storeys, 4 bays with rusticated quoins and ashlar plinth. Mid-C18 porch
in 3rd bay given Tudor-style parapet and new cornice in 1857. 6-panel door
in eared architrave with pulvinated frieze and cornice. The porch has
rusticated quoins also. Left 3 bays have windows, with intermediate glazing
bars removed, in architraves. Finely-moulded sill strings and cornice.
Slightly-projecting broad right bay of 1871 replaces two bays of original
5-bay house. It has a 2-storey canted bay window. Many of the bricks and
quoins re-used from the earlier walling. Gabled roof with splayed coping
and renewed brick end stacks.
Interior: 6-panel doors. Staircase with decorative cast-iron balusters.
