Signal box and signal. Said to be 1911, the 1st floor of the signal box
re-used from earlier system. For the North Eastern Railway. Brick ground
floor in English bond, wood above, Welsh slate roof. Signal iron.

2 storeys, one bay. 3-light mullioned window on ground floor. 1st floor
glazed with large small-paned windows on 3 sides. Outside wooden steps on
right return lead to projecting wood boarded porch with boarded door. Gabled
roof with corniced stack to rear.

Tall, tapering, trellised signal with elongated spike finial. Attached iron
ladder.
