Pair of former estate workers' cottages, c.1838. Squared tooled stone with
ashlar dressings; slate roofs. 1 storey, 4 bays. Chamfered plinth and eaves
course. Casement windows (latticed in no.2) in double-chamfered surrounds.
Central shaped gablet with moulded kneelers and coping over Cresswell arms
(squirrel rampant). Coped gables with moulded kneelers; 2 stepped and corniced
ashlar ridge stacks with conjoined shafts. Flanking set-back porches with
boarded doors in chamfered 4-centred arches; moulded kneelers and coping.
