of Cresswell Tower
GV II
Boundary wall. Mid C19 incorporating part of wall of early C18 house. Squared
stone, tooled in C19 sections, with dressings. North part C18 with plinth and
sill string; blocked house doorway in lugged architrave with pulvinated frieze
and pediments, flanked by parts of architraves of adjacent windows. Canted-out
south section of wall near tower and short straight coped section to south.
