House c.1880, incorporating earlier fabric. Tooled-and-margined ashlar; slate
roof. 2 storeys, 2 wide bays, symmetrical. Central renewed door under overlight,
flanked by paired sash windows; renewed 16-pane sashes above, in half dormers
with ornamental bargeboards. All windows in chamfered surrounds. Roof verges
overhang eaves, corniced end stacks.
Originally the village police house. Included for group value.
