6/91 Barn with adjacent
gingang 60 metres south
of Paxton Dene Farmhouse
Barn with gingang, early C19. Squared stone, slate roof. Barn has gingang
attached to centre of west wall; slit vent and boarded door with tooled-and-
margined dressings to left, similar doorway (now blocked) and boarded door
to right. Gingang has 7 stepped stone piers; roof structure with radiating
struts and curving purlins. To rear of barn adjacent farmbuildings, altered,
not of interest.
