Walled Garden
Conservatory, 1908, for Sir George Otto Trevelyan. Wood, cast-iron, glass.
6-bay wooden structure has off-centre ridge carried by clustered iron rods
with patterned spandrels alternating with patterned braces; similar patterned
braces to principal rafters. At west end an aedicule holds stone lion mask
spout with oblong marble basin; at east end classical marble head on stone
column inscribed G.O.T. 1904 C.T.
