Terrace wall, retaining wall and steps. 1810-17 by Sir Charles Monck. Ashlar
with moulded plinth towards house. Wall c.80 yards long and c. 7 ft. high from
lower terrace, c. 2 ft. high from upper terrace, has slightly ridged coping
with moulded edges.

Broken twice in front of house, and once to west of house by flights of 10
moulded steps, with similar side walls ending in low oblong piers.
