Shops. Early C18 core, largely remodelled early C19. Scored stucco with Welsh
slate roof. 3 storeys, 2 bays with rounded corner bay on left.

C20 shop fronts on ground floor divided by rusticated elliptical arch to Old
Gaol Yard. 16-pane sashes above with sill bands. Rounded corner bay has
rounded 12-pane sashes. Projecting stone eaves. Shallow-pitched roof with
brick end stack.

On site of, and probably incorporating masonry of the old gaol founded in 1704.
Interior has 6-panel doors and early C19 staircase with stick balusters.
