5/4 Dovecote to north-
east of Hepscott Hall

Dovecote, probably early C18. Brick in English Garden Wall Bond 1 & 4; stone
slate roof. East (garden) elevation shows doorway and altered 12-pane sash
window with flat-arched heads; twin pigeon holes with stone alighting shelf
above. Low pyramidal roof. Rear elevation shows later cart entrance and
boarded upper door, both with timber lintels, and 3 slit openings beneath eaves.

Roof in poor condition at time of survey.

Adjacent stable block on south altered and not of special interest.
