10/7 Wansbeck Cottage

Cottage, second quarter of C19. Tooled-and-margined stone with tooled-and-
margined ashlar dressings; blue slate roof. 1 storey, 3 bays, symmetrical.
Plinth; eaves cornice. Central flush-panelled door with 14-pane overlight in
chamfered surround, behind later trellis porch. 3-light mullioned windows in
chamfered surrounds; all openings with hollow-chamfered hoodmoulds. Pyramidal
roof with central stepped-and-corniced compound stack. Set back to right, pent
outshut with flush-panelled door.

Formerly the village post office.
