2/47 East Farmhouse
House, formerly The Plough Inn. Mid-C18, some late C19 alteration. Brick in
irregular English Garden Wall Bond, with sandstone dressings; Welsh slate roof.
2 storeys, 3 bays. Left-of-centre renewed door with 2-pane overlight in
chamfered surround, heightened in C19; blocked window above with tooled lintel
and slightly-projecting sill. Similar window openings in end bays hold later
4-pane sashes. Coped gables with moulded kneelers; rebuilt end stacks, that
to left re-using moulded cornice. Similar windows on returns, one on right
set in chamfered surround of former doorway; right gable rebuilt.

Rear elevation shows boarded door with 3-pane overlight and tooled lintel.
Single-storey rear extension, with boarded door and 6-pane sash, is linked to
farmbuildings (q.v.).
