5334 Crenellated retaining
wall to east of the
Old Grammar School

Mid to late C19; curved ashlar wall with crenellation starting at round arched
gateway opposite the south-east corner of the Old Grammar School and running
up to Hallgate, where it terminates in a capped pier. The wall is about 4-5
ft high to the north.
