Late C18. Three storeys. Three windows. Painted brick with stone plinth, cill strings and window heads and door surround to No 49. Brick chimneys. Paired windows flanking central window. Glazing bar sashes. No.47 has a plate glass shop front with three fascia brackets and a central entrance. Two storeys at rear.

Nos. 45 to 49 (odd) together with Giles Place (Nos 1 to 5) and Holy Island House and Holy Island Cottage, form a group, of which Giles Place (Nos 1 to 5) are of local interest.
