Dated 1826. 2 storeys and basements. 3 + 2 + 1 windows. Terrace stepped uphill.
Brick with stone quoins, lintels, cills, kneelers and coped verges to slate roofs.
Brick chimneys. Glazing bar sash windows. No 1 has 3 light bay with late glazing,
dooroase with slender pilasters and hood, 6 flush panel door with rectangular
light above. No 2 has early C20 glazed porch. No 3 is the largest, double
fronted with steps at left to basement through passage with 6 panel door, tablet
below eaves reads "Temperley" over "18 Place 26". Quoins between Nos 3 and 4
form pier strip. Front gardens raised over basement offices. Stone built at

No 25, the archway to east of No 25 and Nos 26 to 29 (consec) together with the old
Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Bankhead and Wentworth Place, Nos 1 to 4 (consec)
form a group.
