Dated 1826. 2 storeys. 2 windows each, No 2 has later 1 window hipped annexe
to left. Ashlar, No 1 stepped down. No 2 has slight piers at sides, No 1 has
quoins. Glazing bar sash windows. No has quoined doorcase; rectangular
light above door lacking most glazing bars. No 2 has raised door surrounds
with plain hood, 6 flush reeded panels, rectangular light above with lozenge
glazing. Carved stone between Nos 1 and 2 with legend 'Temperley Place 1826'.

Nos 1 to 43 (odd) Hencotes, together with Temperley Place (Nos 1 to 5) and walls form
a group, of which Nos 7 to 13, 13A and 13B, 19, 21, 31, 33 and 41 Hencotes are of
local interest.
