Early C18. 3 storeys. 5 windows with a 3 window 2 storey wing (No 21) to east.
Rendered with raised quoins and quoined and rusticated window dressings (as on
the Simonburn Rectory illustrated in NCH Vol XV). Glazing bar sash windows with
rusticated flat arches with aprons above. Central entrance with similar treatment.
Stone built at rear with 2 gabled extensions. 6 panel door with rectangular
traceried fanlight. Panelled shutters and soffits to windows. Wing to east
(No 21) has rusticated architraves and glazing bars only in upper sashes of 1st
floor windows. Central door with quoins. Wide segmental coach arch to right
with rusticated archivolts.

Nos 19 to 23 (odd) and the County Hotel, form a group.
