At northern end of the Sele.
1856 and later. Built by public subscription. Gothic in style. Single storey.
Rubble built.
West Pavilion: 2 + 2 + 2 windows, centre recessed with projecting gabled bays
at sides. To east is horizontal annexe, 1 window. Transomed windows. 3 light
4 centred arch headed windows in gables with tracery panel above. High pitched
roof.
Central pavilion runs north-south. 2 gables to south with pierced bargeboards
and 4 pointed decorated tracery windows with stilted labels, separated by buttresses
and with curved triangular vents above. To west: 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 2 windows.
3 gables with slight pierced bargeboards and pointed tracery windows. Other
windows of 3 lights. Doorway in north gable. East side similar.
Later range to east in 2 blocks separated at an oblique angle by a polygonal
linking pavilion topped by bell turret.
