Town Hall dated 1876 in pediment. Ashlar, rusticated quoins; hipped slate roof,
ashlar stacks with heavy cornices. Rectangular block with meeting hall running
back to rear. Italianate style. Front elevation 2 storeys, 3 bays, central bay
set forward with rusticated quoins. Central doorway, with heavy Tuscan pilasters
and entablature, flanked by paired round-arched windows with chamfered keystones,
plain imposts and projecting corbelled sills. Inscription above doorway:

PRESENTED TO THE INHABITANTS
OF NEWBROUGH BY
MISS JANE TODD

1st floor, above moulded string, sash window in centre bay flanked by paired
sashes, in raised stop-chamfered surrounds with chamfered heads. Moulded cornice
and panelled parapet. Pilastered centre bay holds clock and supports pediment
with acroterion, with bell cote behind.
