18/128 Ovington Hall and
attached stables

House and stable. Possibly medieval core, C16 or C17 and C19. Random rubble
with ashlar dressings. Older masonry to rear span and base courses of stables.
Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys. House double span. Front span mid-C19. 3 bays.
Original door in centre with chamfered surround, Tudor arch and hoodmould.
Flanking canted bay windows with 8-pane sashes in each light. Similar sashes
to 2-light mullioned windows under hoodmoulds on 1st floor.

Attached to right, 2-storey stable with granary over seems largely rebuilt early
C19 but has early C14 window on right return.

Rear span has irregular fenestration including a variety of early C19 sashes.
Rear of stables has 2 doors on each floor and two ½-slatted windows. Gabled
roofs; rear span of much steeper pitch.

Interior of rear span has chamfered beams with broach stops, and early C19
