NY 98 SE KIRKWHELPINGTON WEST HARLE

7/91 West Harle Farmhouse

House. C18 refaced early C19. Dressed stone facade, random rubble elsewhere.
Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central door of 6 flush panels with
overlight and stone-bracketed cornice hood. Ground-floor windows are 16-pane
sashes, 1st-floor are renewed 4-pane sashes.

Gabled roof with flat coping and triple conjoined end stacks.

Rear has C19 wood porch, 12-pane sashes and Yorkshire sashes.

Interior has staircase with turned newels and square balusters; 6-panelled doors
and internal shutters. Rooms at rear have earlier C18 doors and shutters.
