16/103 The Temperance

GV II

House, formerly inn and temperance hotel. c1840. Snecked rubble with tooled-
and-margined ashlar dressings. Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 broad bays with
2-light mullioned windows holding 6-pane casements. Alternating quoins. Gabled
roof with kneelers, flat coping, ball finials and one small ridge stack.

Doorway on left return in stone gabled porch with kneelers and ridged coping.
