House, formerly Inn. West (kitchen) wing early to mid C18, south wing mid-C18,
north wing early C19. Roughly-squared stone with cut dressings, tooled-and-
margined in C19 part; part rendered and whitewashed; stone slate roof. South
elevation 2 storeys, 3 irregular bays. Left-of-centre altered flush-panelled
door in chamfered stone surround, with plate-glass sash over; flanking bays
have French windows with 4-pane sashes above. End stacks, that to left rendered.
Fenestration of west range altered. North range part single-storeyed, with
16-pane Yorkshire sash flanked by boarded doors; attached pent privy to far
right.

Interior: closed-string stair with stick balusters and moulded handrail,
fireplace in south range, with chamfered surround and domed recess for set pot.
2 fielded-panel doors in west range. Cellar, beneath west range, with segmental
brick vault and old well.
