Headstone, 1793. Sandstone. Shaped top, decorative moulded and beaded border;
relief carvings of cherub with scallop shell above, self-swallowing serpent over
scythe, recumbent hourglass and death's head below, with floral ornament.
Inscription 'The Burial Place of Jos. Green of WHITTESTELL (Whittonstall)'and
denoting burial of Jane Green in 1793. Good quality masoncraft.
