20.10.52 of Haughton Castle
Chapel. Late C11 or early C12, chancel probably rebuilt in C17. Largely
demolished c.1816. Coursed heavy rubble. Nave with almost square chancel.
The north wall and east end of the chancel stand, the latter with a ragged
opening where a window was; the lower part of the south-east corner of the nave
also survives. No architectural detail left; C13 window head lying in the ruin
came from the Castle.
