School, c.1833 incorporating earlier fabric, enlarged and extended in C20. Old
part roughly-squared stone with tooled-and-margined dressings; Welsh slate roof.
Single storey, 3 wide and irregular bays. Centre, the original school, has 3-
and 2-light mullioned-and-transomed windows; roughly-shaped quoins to left and
cut quoins to right. Flanking bays each have half-glazed door in chamfered
triangular-headed surround (probably re-set from returns of original building);
lintels with Scripture texts dated 1833 and 1836. C20 casements, that to left
in chamfered surround of former 3-light muillioned window. 2 ridge stacks,
banded and with paired diagonally-set shafts with heavy cornices.

2-storey end bays and further C20 extensions to rear, not of interest.
