GV II

Dovecote and garden walls, mid-C18. External elevations rubble with roughly-
shaped quoins; internal elevations brick in irregular stretcher bond; cut
dressings; dovecote roof Welsh slate with wooden turret. South elevation of
dovecote: altered flush-panelled door in chamfered stone surround. Coped gables,
square turret on ridge with 3 round-headed pigeon holes, pyramidal cap and
weathervane. Left return shows blocked window with stone lintel. Right return
shows boarded doors at 2 levels, the upper pierced by pigeon holes.

Garden wall linking north-west corner of dovecote with south-east corner of
Linden House (q.v.) has flat coping and boarded door in chamfered surround.
Garden wall running from south-east corner of dovecote to ha-ha wall, (q.v.)
contains boarded door with tooled-and-margined lintel and is patched and
heightened in stone. Attached farmbuildings to rear not of interest.
