12/258 Garden walls south-
west of Linden House

GV II

Garden wall, probably mid-C18, incorporating earlier work. Part stone, part
with brick internal face in irregular stretcher bond. South part of wall,
squared stone with boarded door in chamfered surround, joins ha-ha wall (q.v.).
North part coursed rubble heightened in brick, returning east as brick-faced
section then returning north; north end incorporates wall of earlier building
with long roughly-shaped quoins.
