GV II

Garden walls. C18, incorporating earlier fabric. Mostly brick, some stonework.
Tall brick wall, in English garden wall bond 1 and 5, with flat stone coping,
on north of garden, has boarded door in alternating-block surround adjacent to
house (q.v.). Wall on west, browner brick in 1 and 7 bond, steps downhill;
lower courses at north end stone, with boarded door. Wall runs to junction
with a lower stone section, which is not of special interest. Rear elevation
of north wall incorporates rubble masonry and large roughly-shaped quoins of
older building.
