15/3 The Hagg Farmhouse


House, dated '1691' on keystone of front door. Rubble, stone dressings,
slate roof, brick chimneys. 2 storeys, 5 irregular bays; off-centre doorway,
in moulded architrave under keyed lintel with initials I (?) S above date, in
C20 porch. Far left bay has 3-light mullioned windows, next bay has later
window in blocked doorway with alternating jambs; and C18 window in plain
stone surround above. 2 bays right of porch have 2-light mullioned windows.
To left attached farmbuildings are not of interest.
