25/31 Allen Lodge


House, early C19. Squared stone, ashlar plinth, rusticated ashlar quoins
and dressings, projecting eaves course. Hipped slate roof, central stack.
2 storeys, 3 windows. Central door, 16-pane sashes; all openings have
alternating rusticated surrounds; square-section cornice above door. 2-bay
returns have similar windows but right side 1st floor windows renewed. Rear
elevation similar to front but door without cornice. Single-storey garage
extension right of door.
