Methodist Chapel, dated 1859. Rubble, tooted and margined dressings, slate
roof, cast-iron railings. 1 tall storey, 3 bays (basement on right return
and rear). Off-centre porch with boarded door has coped gable with moulded
kneelers. To right 9-pane sash windows with arched heads to the upper panes.
Right return has boarded door with alternating jambs. 16-pane sash to left,
round-headed window above with radial glazing and Cl9 coloured glass. Left
return has 2 round-headed 15-pane sash windows with C19 coloured glass in the
heads; above and between a semicircular stone panel inscribed 'WESLEYAN CHAPEL'
with date. ENLARGED
Area railings with lotus finials on low rubble wall with flat coping, running
from a plain pier on the left to a taller wall on the right linking back to
the right end of the return.

Interior being remodelled.
