House. Mid C19 incorporating earlier fabric, perhaps medieval. Rubble, except
for squared stone on right return, tooled dressings; stone slate roof. 2 storeys,
2 bays. Central projecting porch has chamfered loop and coped gable with
kneelers; vertical-panelled door in triangular-headed stop-chamfered surround
in left wall. C20 window in left bay with plate glass sashes to 1st floor.
Coped right gable with kneelers and corbelled-out corniced stack, stepped-and-
corniced ridge stack. Gabled wing to rear right; right return, at skew angle)
has older masonry in lower part of wall. Medieval architectural fragments re-set
in wall of rear wing.

Thought to be on site of Abbey Mill.
