Forecourt walls and piers, c.1840 re-using C18 piers. Coursed rubble (part
rendered) and squared stone. In two sections: to east of porch wing is
entrance with rusticated jamb, linked by flat-coped wall to pier with
chamfered base and moulded cap and simpler pier beyond. Ball finials to jamb
and main pier, gadrooned urn on outer pier. To west, wall ramped down to
gateway with similar main pier on left and simpler pier (no finial) on right;
flat-coped wall beyond joins with single-storey part of Manor House (q.v.).
