House, mid C18, roof altered later C19. Squared stone front, rubble to rear;
slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays, slightly irregular. Left-of-centre 6-panel
door with flanking 12-pane sashes (that to right renewed); shorter 12-pane
sashes above. End stacks rebuilt in brick, roof verges overhang eaves.
1-storey added right bay is old outshut, altered; l-bay 2-storey extension
of 1957 to left, not of interest.
Interior: Front door probably original to house, made to fit stonework rather
than wooden frame; old ironwork and hinges set within wall. Central stair
with stick balusters and square-section moulded handrail, 2-panel doors.
