GV II


Cottage, second quarter of C19. Coursed rubble with tooled-and-margined quoins
and dressings; slate roof. I storey, 4 bays, irregular. Boarded door with
5-pane overlight in bay 3; to left two 16-pane sashes, to right a small
inserted window and a 9-pane casement. Original openings all with chamfered
alternating-block surrounds, windows with slightly-projecting sills. Hipped
roof with stepped and corniced ridge stack.
