House, late C17 refronted and extended c.1840. Front coursed stone with
tooled ashlar quoins and dressings, other walls coursed large rubble; stone
slate roof. Main part 2 storeys, 3 bays, symmetrical. Central renewed door
with 16-pane sash window above, flanking bays with 2-light mullioned windows
holding 12-pane sashes (below) and 16-pane sashes (above); all openings in
chamfered surrounds. Coped gables with moulded kneelers, end stacks. Set
back to right a 2-storey bay with similar fenestration, coped gable with
moulded kneelers and stone end stack heightened in brick. Tall wall with flat
coping to far right. C20 brick wing to rear of house and C20 garage at rear
of wall, not of interest.
Interior: old ceiling beams to ground floor; 3-bay upper-cruck roof, trusses
with collars, 2 levels of purlins and square-set ridge carried on saddle.
