House, c.1830 with later C19 rear wings. Squared stone in narrow courses with
dressings, graduated green slate roof and stone chimneys. Reversed U-plan:
main block with 2 wings on rear. 2-storey, 3-bay main block has plinth and
raised quoins. 6-panel door and fanlight with radial glazing under central,
partly-glazed porch with angle columns, frieze and cornice. 4-pane sashes in
raised surrounds. Deep eaves cornice on groups of 3 stone brackets. Low-
pitched hipped roof with 2 corniced ridge stacks. Similar 2-bay returns.
Lower 2-storey rear wings with scattered sashes and low-pitched hipped roofs.
C20 rear addition between wings is not of special interest.
