Possibly late C18 origins. Two storeys in painted brick and two later dormers in modern roof. Brackets at eaves. One window, brick voussoirs, hung sashes with glazing bars and two later windows of two lights, segmental heads, to both floors. No 55 has pedimented doorway with moulded frieze and moulded surround. Door of six panels beneath rectangular fanlight. Included as the end of a group.

Nos 53 to 57 form a group.
