Late C18. Two storeys in brick with dentil eaves cornice and pantile roof. Barn with two windows, one with glazing bars, wood lintels. Segmental cart entry. One storey stable extension to east with pantile roof and dentil cornice, stable door. Half painted. Included as part of a group.

West Retford Hall, former stables, the Cottage, Rose Ghyll Cottage, Farm Building to Rose Ghyll Cottage and The Barn form a group.
