Inn

G.V. II

Public house. Mid and late C18. Rendered. Pantile roof with
single red brick stack to the rear and dog tooth eaves. 3
storeys, 6 bays. Set on a plinth. The left 3 bays are slightly
set back and have a 1st floor band. Doorway with part glazed
door and flat canopy over supported on brackets. To the left
are 2 glazing bar sashes and 3 further, larger, glazing bar
sashes. Above are 4 glazing bar sashes, the 2 on the right
being smaller, and a central glazing bar Yorkshire sash. All
windows have a moulded wooden architrave frame. Under the 2
right windows are single recessed panels with the name of the pub
inscribed in relief. It is also inscribed in relief on the 1st
floor band. To the rear are 2 and single storey extensions.
